Continuous casting mold comprises mold plates (1) containing cooling channels (4) and connected to a water tank using screw elements. The screw elements are fixing bolts with a threaded shaft which can be screwed into the fixing threads (2, 3) in the mold plates. The fixing threads run with their middle longitudinal axes between two neighboring cooling channels. The diameter of each threaded bore is larger than the distance between two neighboring cooling channels. The bores for the fixing threads terminate at a distance from the bottom of the cooling channels.
