The drive wheel has a barrel jacket (2), which is operatively connected to a traction mechanism having a hub (3), which is connected in rotational fixed manner to the drive axle of an auxiliary unit. A damping device (4) comprises a spring accumulator (5), which is arranged to act between the barrel jacket and the hub. The spring store has two separate springs (5',5"). Two springs are inserted in a row one behind the other. A connector (6) is arranged between the two springs. Two springs have different sizes and designs.
