The network (1) has customer computers (2) and servers e.g. application servers (6, 6`, 6`) installed on server computers. User activity detecting systems (8, 8`, 8``) are assigned to each server, where availability of a user activity identification in the systems is verified based on a time stamp. The identification assigned by the detecting systems includes a network address of the detecting systems, a process identification number and a start time point of current programs on the detecting systems, and a consecutive number assigned to the detecting systems, except the time stamp.
