The mechanism has a holder (2) attached to a vehicle (1) that is movable automatically and driven in an independent manner. The vehicle is provided with an independent drive (6) i.e. electric drive. The vehicle is movable automatically and independently to a charging station for charging an energy source (7) i.e. storage battery, during achieving of certain discharging condition of the energy source. A stand pipe (12) and/or the holder are changeable in height, to move different height arranged feeding points (15) e.g. fodder bowls, for delivering of liquid food (3).
