Independent wheel suspension for motor vehicle's rear wheel, has actuator that cooperates with hinge point of trailing link section by adjustment mechanism, such that position of hinge point is changeable in vehicle transverse direction
The suspension (1) has a rear wheel carrier (2) with a trailing link section (3) e.g. rubber bush, that extends in a vehicle longitudinal direction (x). The section is pivotably supported at a hinge point by a guide bearing (5) at a chassis. An electromechanical or electrohydraulic actuator cooperates with the point by an adjustment mechanism, such that the position of the point is changeable in a vehicle transverse direction (y). A wheel-sided guide bearing (8) of an upper transverse control arm (6) is vertically aligned with a wheel-sided guide bearing of a lower transverse control arm (7).
