The flat siphon (10) comprises a pipe body (1) closed at its one end or bypasses into deflecting elbow (7) and has an inlet opening (4), which is aligned, upward. An upper partition (2) is arranged within the tubing cross section of the pipe body and a lower partition (3) is spaced axial to upper partition. The lower edge of the upper partition extends underneath the upper edge of the lower partition.
