The device (1) has a carrier (3), a covering film (4), and a chamber (5) formed between carrier and covering film. A flat or not preformed covering film is laminated onto the carrier. A three-dimensionally shaped or convex chamber wall is formed by a laminating process, and chamber wall partially forms the boundary of a chamber for the fluid. An independent claim is also included for a method for the production of the device.
