The method involves accessing initial volume data comprising multiple volume elements, which are provided with an attribute information for representing an initial condition of visualization of 3 dimensional objects. A virtual 3D-object, moved by a 3D-input unit relative to the visualized 3D-object, is initialized. The movement changes the visualized 3D-object by interaction of the virtual 3D-object with the visualized 3D-object. An independent claim is also included for a device for viewing a 3 dimensional image sequence inside a structure.
