The machine (1) has a housing (2) for enclosing an interior space (3) with two transverse walls (18a, 18b) and a periphery wall (2c). Swash-plates (4) supported longitudinally adjacent to a cylinder drum (5) are flexibly supported at pistons (9). The plates are adjustably supported back and forth along extending piston bores (6) in the drum. The periphery wall has a radial elevation formed in a longitudinal direction of the housing and formed by two u-shaped periphery wall sections. The sections limit a radially extended interior section.
