A method for producing a foaming part (10), in particular a body add-on part, is provided with an electrically conductable structure (16) by said structure being applied temporarily to a backing material (20; 20'). The unit in the form of backing material and conductable structure (16) is placed into a foaming mould. During the foaming operation, the plastic is joined to the conductable structure but not to the backing material (20; 20'). After the foam has hardened, said backing material (20; 20') is easily peeled off, and therefore the conductable structure is exposed at the surface.
