The brake control unit (11) has a steering angle sensor (SE2) provided for calculating a steering angle to obtain the steering angle of a steering wheel (24) of a vehicle. An electronic control unit (16) implements a brake control during cornering if a vehicle body speed is smaller than a preset speed threshold value such that a brake force, which is provided for a wheel at an inner side with respect to a vehicle turning direction, is smaller than another brake force in that case when the vehicle body speed is equal or greater than the preset speed threshold value. An independent claim is also included for a brake controlling method.
