The sensor has a connector (4) integrated with housing (9), where the connector has a pair of connections (6-8), a pair of flexible carriers (20) and an electrical unit (21). The electrical unit is coupled between the connections over the flexible carriers, where each flexible carrier has electrical conductivity. The housing has an opening (19) for exposing the carriers from the housing to outside of the housing, and the opening is encapsulated with an encapsulation unit in a waterproof manner. Each carrier has a slope section and an arm section, where the slopes are integrated together. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a sensor integrated with a connector.
