The heater has an inspiration tube and an expiration tube provided with two heating sections that are implemented as heating wire loops or heating wire coils. A control module (7) is provided with two voltage outputs (8, 9). An adapter (10) is arranged between the heating sections. The adapter exhibits a control circuit (11), where inputs of the control circuit is electrically connected with the control module by a cable and outputs of the control circuit is electrically connected with connectors for the heating sections.
