The sorting device comprises of multiple linking belts (2) linked with each other and are arranged diagonally to a conveying direction. An air-permeable channeling (4) is provided for receiving of the unsorted conveying closure lids (5) and a unit for discharging of all aligned closure lids into a downstream subsequent processing. The channel of the running conveyor belt (1) over a certain horizontal extraction area (B2) is blown from bottom by a controlled air flow (L) perpendicularly upward against the closure lids.
