The wall or ceiling cladding (1) is composed of panels (2,3), with couplings (4) to engage an edge groove (7-10) at the panels for mounting at the wall/ceiling surface. At least two grooves are in at least one end side (5,6) of the panels, at a gap from each other and parallel to the panel visible surface (11,12). The coupling engages one of the two grooves, to set the gap between the panel and the supporting surface.
