The optical rotational transmission system comprises an optical rotational transmitter (10). The optical rotational transmitter is connected at its side with an optical multiplexer (14) and on the other side with another optical multiplexer (15). The two optical multiplexer has a port (P1) for a wavelength (lambda 1), another port (P2) for another wavelength (lambda 2) and another port (P3) for both wavelengths. The two optical multiplexer are connected with the optical rotational transmitter at its port (P3) for both wavelengths. An independent claim is also included for a method for rotational transmission of two optical signals in same direction.
