The mast (10) has contact surfaces (16, 18) for absorption of lever forces along its external profile, where the forces are exerted on the mast from the terminal or fittings over a form-fittingly attached fastening element on the mast to be exercised. The contact surfaces extend concavely inwards opposite to encasing of the mast. The cross section profile of the mast is same over the entire mast length. The contact surfaces are provided for the fastening element. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a mast arrangement containing a mast (2) a foot for use in a mast arrangement.
