The mast has a mast frame (10) including two parallel support profiles (12, 14) connected in lower and upper areas by cross-beams (16, 18), where each profile exhibit a U-shaped cross section with a bar section. Two leg portions are connected with the bar section and are manufactured from a steel by drawing or shaping. The cross section of each profile is formed in a hollow manner along a part of length of the support profile. Chambers are filled with a reinforced filling material e.g. plastic material, plastic foam, metal, fiber material, waste product and non-metal material.
