The device (1) has a pipeline unit (2) with a set of nozzles (4), and a drive (3) provided for rotating the pipeline unit. The nozzles run in spiral-shape around the circumference of the pipeline unit that is guidable in a vehicle to be cleaned over a guiding system (5). The pipeline unit is provided with a guiding head (7) for guiding the pipeline unit and the drive (3) over the guiding system, where the pipeline unit is driven on the guiding system by a drive (8). An independent claim is also included for a method for cleaning of a motor vehicle inner area with a cleaning device.
