The transmission device has a drive shaft (1), which has a spindle shaft section (4), and a spindle nut (5), which is moved in a translative manner on the spindle shaft section. An output element has an output shaft (10) and stays in rotary engagement with the spindle nut. A damper is provided for the flexible damping of the translative movement of the spindle nut on the spindle shaft section. An independent claim is also included for a torque sensor, which has a transmission device and an evaluation system.
