The system has a line (3) for transporting the brake dust from a brake (1) to an exhaust-gas line (4). The line is connected to the exhaust-gas line in such a way that the brake dust, due to the venturi principle, is sucked from the line into the exhaust-gas line. The line runs partly coaxially within the exhaust-gas line. An independent claim is also included for a method for transporting away brake dust.
