A container (2) for soapsuds holds laundry/washing and has a lockable loading opening fitted on the top or at the front. A device moves the laundry/washing inside the container for soapsuds. Another device introduces water and detergents into the container for soap suds. In the bottom area of the container for soapsuds there is a ventilating fan (4), through which a stream of air (9) can be fed from below through a horizontal plate (3) with several holes (7). Sprinkler units (8) fit in the top and/or side area of the container for soap suds.
