The system (1) has a sensor device (15) for detecting environmental parameters (X) described by an interior climate of a motor vehicle (13). A control device (5) is provided for controlling the environmental parameters by controlling climatic parameters, which is caused at the interior climate of the motor vehicle, depending on the determined environmental parameters and operator desires. An adaptation device (3) is provided for adaptation of control parameters (17) of the control device depending on the past values of the operator desires, which result at an operating device. An independent claim is also included for a method for controlling interior climate of a motor vehicle with an air conditioning system.
