The system has two magnetic structures such as insertion devices (ID) e.g. wigglers, producing synchrotron radiation. A beam guide has monochromators and focusing mirrors that are brought to intersection points in a patient measuring position. Two storage rings (SR) are laid one above the other. The wigglers are shifted around an angle between 0 degree and less than 180 degrees. The radiation is guided to an optical element (OE), which selects wavelengths of the radiation and guides the radiation to a patient. Energy dispersive detectors (DET) register the radiation.
