The device (10) has a fastening element (12) for fastening the device to a surface of two surfaces forming an edge. A guide element (26) is connected with the fastening element, and has a contact surface (28) that is formed in a curved manner, where curvature of the contact surface is adapted to a desired bending radius of a cable that is to be laid around the edge. A borehole (24) is formed in the fastening element for accommodating a fastening device. The guide element is connected with the fastening element at a connecting position (P1) by a connecting bar (32).
