The brake (6) has a straight cable guide (5), and a cable support including a guide roller (23) on a side of cross section of a cable (2) e.g. bend proof cable. A brake i.e. tilt lever (24), is provided on another side of the cross section. The brake is pressable to the cable, where the contour of the contact surface of the brake deviates from the outer contour of the cable. The contact surface of the brake has a larger radius of curvature than the outer diameter of the cable. The cable support lies opposite to the brake.
