The drive device has an internal-combustion engine (10), a speed change-speed gear, and a planetary drive reducing a driving torque of the engine. An input element (20) of the planetary drive (18) is directly or indirectly attached to a force delivery shaft (12) of the engine. A transmission element (26) e.g. internal gear, of the planetary drive is fixedly supported at a housing, and another transmission element of the planetary drive is drifted on an input shaft of the speed change-speed gear, where the supporting of the transmission element (26) is implemented as a controllable brake (34).
