The rest (1) has a displacement sensor (11) formed as a Bowden cable (12) that is fixedly fastened to a center piece (5), and one of outer holding elements (4a, 4b) or an actuating piston with an end (13), as a band or as a string element, which is deformable in length. The Bowden cable and/or the band is clampable on a rolling device with another end (14), where the rolling device is fixedly supported to a cylinder (9) accommodating the actuating spring and/or a housing (2). A potentiometer wheel (18) produces electrical signals in dependence of the length of the cable provided.
