The arrangement (1) has an air supplier (3) with a compressor (3.2), which is operated using an electric motor (3.1). A diffuser (3.3), is downstream of the compressor, where an outlet of the diffuser opens into a cathode sided inlet of a fuel cell stack (2). A reefed comes off from the fuel cell stack on an output side, where the reefed for a reaction product opens directly into the air supplier. The diffuser is provided as an ejector for sucking in the reaction product flowing into the reefed such as cathode exhaust gas and for influxing and mixing the gas in the oxidizing agent.
