The automatic torque switching device (1) has a reduction device (8) with a fixed part, a rotation entrance part and a rotation exit part. The fixed part is connected with a device housing (2) by the one-way-coupling (9). The rotation entrance part and the fixed part are connected by a torque limiter (10), so that they rotate only integrally if a torque, which affects the fixed part, is smaller than or equal to a given value. An adjusting device is provided for adjusting a friction connection force between the rotation entrance part and the firm part by the torque limiter.
