The method involves driving a product i.e. passenger car (1), in a measuring cell (3), in a predetermined test position. Free measuring points are scannable and/or detectable with sensors (6, 6') that are removable from robots (4) of the measuring cell. The measuring points and/or the sensors are selected according to relevance criteria of parameters recognized with the sensors. The measuring cell is externally programmable. An independent claim is also included for a device for the measurement of parameters of a product.
