The lamp assembly (1) has multiple flat lamp modules (1a), which are connected together at the narrow sides and has housing (6). A radiating body is arranged at the lower side of the housing. Multiple suspended sections (12a,12b) are provided for connecting the lamp modules and suspending the formed lamp assembly, and are arranged in the corner area of the lamp assembly and in the area of expansion joints (2a,2b) between the lamp modules. One of the suspended sections is mounted after each position in the lamp assembly in different way at the upper side of the lamp module.
