The table top is folded down out of the floor area of the commercial vehicle cabin, and its vehicle front side end area is connected with a rod element, which extends horizontally and is connectable with dashboard (3). Two rod elements are arranged parallel to each other at the vehicle front side end area of the table top. Each of the rod elements has two rectilinear sections that run parallel to each other and are spaced from each other in longitudinal and also in perpendicular directions.
