The linear electrical machine has a primary part (2) and a secondary part (1). The primary part has current conductive coils and the secondary part has permanent magnets arranged in moving direction. An air gap is provided between a primary and secondary part in which a holohedral intermediate layer part (6) is provided. The thinner areas are provided in an intermediate layer part, which is provided on the both parts. The intermediate layer part is a plastic cast part, which has magnetizing particles, particularly ferrite particles. An independent claim is also included for a method for the production and/or re-fitting of a machine, involves fitting of an intermediate layer part into a linear motor.
