The door outer handle is supported rotary-movably about a horizontal rotational axis (25) at the support. The door outer handle is encompassed completely by a human hand at the vehicle door in a mounted condition. The support has a handle holder (2) for holding the door outer handle and for rotary-movably storing the door outer handle. An independent claim is also included for a motor vehicle door with a door outer panel.
