Quality control equipment for laser welding and cutting processes, especially for use in production of car bodywork, comprises several laser tools (2), each connected to its own robot (5) and to a laser (8) which transmits a single laser beam to each tool. Sensors (10) and/or cameras (9) determine the process parameters and feed data to a processor (11) which is connected to a control unit (12) for the whole system and/or to the laser and/or to control units (13) for the robots and/or to additional sensors. An independent claim is included for a quality control method for laser welding and cutting processes, especially for use in production of car bodywork using the system.
