Preparing an olefin copolymerization catalyst (G) comprises contacting a solid catalyst component (A) comprising titanium-, magnesium- and halo atom; an organo aluminum- and/or an organo aluminum-oxy compound (B); and a nitrogen containing aromatic heterocyclic compound (C), with one another; where one or more carbon atoms of the compound (C) which are adjacent to its nitrogen atom are binded to an electron withdrawing residue or a residue containing electron withdrawing residue. An independent claim is included for the preparation of an olefin-copolymer, comprising contacting two or more types of olefin with (G).
