Producing solid catalyst component, useful for olefin polymerization, comprises e.g. contacting silicon compound silicon-oxygen bond and organomagnesium compound to form precursor of solid catalyst component for olefin polymerization
Producing a solid catalyst component for olefin polymerization, comprises (i) contacting silicon compound having a silicon-oxygen bond and organomagnesium compound to form a precursor of the solid catalyst component for olefin polymerization, and (ii) contacting the precursor of the solid catalyst component containing metal halide compound (I), and internal electron donors comprising ester compounds (II). Producing a solid catalyst component for olefin polymerization, comprises (i) contacting silicon compound having a silicon-oxygen bond and organomagnesium compound to form a precursor of the solid catalyst component for olefin polymerization, and (ii) contacting the precursor of the solid catalyst component containing metal halide compound of formula (MX 1 b( R 1 ) 4 -b) (I), and internal electron donors comprising ester compounds of formula (R 2-O-C-(R 3)(R 4)-C(R 5)(R 6)-C(=O)-O-R 7) (II) M : group 4 element, preferably Ti; R 11-20C hydrocarbyl or hydrocarbonoxy; X 1halo; b : less than 0-= 4; R 2, R 71-20C hydrocarbyl (optionally substituted); and R 3-R 6H, halo or 1-20C hydrocarbyl (optionally substituted). Independent claims are also included for: (1) producing a solid catalyst for olefin polymerization, comprising contacting the solid catalyst component for olefin polymerization produced as mentioned above, an organoaluminum compound and an external electron donor; and (2) producing an olefin polymer, comprising polymerizing olefin in the presence of the solid catalyst for olefin polymerization produced by the above mentioned method.
