The cell machine has vanes (116) moveably arranged in guide areas (114) of a rotor in a radial direction. A vane guiding element (118) includes an outer guiding surface at which a set of inner radial guiding sections of the vanes are permanently supported. Another vane guiding element includes another outer guiding surface at which another set of inner radial guiding sections of the vanes are permanently supported. Each vane guiding element is formed as a flat disc or a flat ring. One of the vane guiding elements is designed as an axial sealing closure for the guide areas.
