The seal has a circular seal body (50) connected with a roller journal in a rotary fixed manner, and including a contact surface (53) designed coaxial to a roller axis (52). Two bars (54, 55) are distanced or directed away from the axis. The bars are in contact with a ring projection in a direct or indirect manner. A reinforcement element (51) is provided for the reinforcement of the body. The breadth of the element is larger than outside clearance of the bars. The element is made of steel, steel fabric, plastic fabric, kevlar fabric, aramide fiber or carbon fiber.
