The method involves rectifying an iteration of a pair of images of a stereo camera system (2). The pair of images is checked two times with different rectification parameters on a pitch angle (beta). The pitch angle of the pair of images is identified with the most of the correspondences as actual pitch angle. The corresponding points in the rectified pair of images are determined by an optical flux. A vertical adjustment between the corresponding points is used for determining a roll angle (alpha). An yaw angle (gamma) is determined by a point with an established distance.
