A method for access to an enterprise resource planning system (erp) with the aid of a mobile apparatus

The method involves downloading a specific application coded and compiled in Java programming language, in a mobile equipment e.g. personal digital assistant. A request in an XML format is routed via a mobile communication network, to a telecommunication system e.g. WAP gateway. The request is transmitted towards an enterprise resource planning (ERP) module through a web service interface. An independent claim is also included for a system for implementing a method to access an enterprise resource planning (ERP) module from a mobile equipment.
