PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To absorb even a rather large assembling error without increasing the space of mounting parts.;SOLUTION: A self-aligning connector has a female connector and a male connector engageable with each other, and used for electrical connection between a plurality of electric connection members connected to these connectors and the female connector is fixed to one mounting part. The male connector is fixed to the other mounting part through a connector cover and a slide plate. Four elastic claws 6 to 9 are formed on the connector cover 1 fitted to the female connector at the front and rear and the right and left sides of the connector cover 1 in plan view where their tips are positioned at the center part thereof. Holes 3 and grooves 5 to which the four elastic claws 6 to 9 are set are formed in the slide plate 2 fixed to the other mounting part.
