Provided is an ink set for an ink jet recording device, which allows a full-color image to be dried in a short time, and reproducibly realizes a vivid image with no blotting in a color interface. The ink set comprises at least two kinds of ink having different colors, wherein the ink comprises a colorant, an emulsifier and water, and each kind of colored ink comprises a different emulsifier in terms of HLB(hydrophilic lipophilic balance). Particularly, the ink set comprises a first ink comprising a first colorant, a first emulsifier, an organic solvent and water, and a second ink comprising a second colorant, a second emulsifier, an organic solvent and water, wherein the first emulsifier is at least one ionic emulsifier, and the second emulsifier is an ionic emulsifier, a non-ionic emulsifier or a mixture thereof and has a HLB value les than the HLB value of the first emulsifier.
