Brief description of the navigation in a clinical data processing and management system of a data base implementing this process

The method involves designating a family, a subject of the family and an extensor by a user, where the extensor relates the family to another family and establishes a particular relation between the families. The extensor is formed of binary links between subjects of the families. A search is made for occurrences of the extensor, related to the designated subject, among all subjects of the latter family and the links. All related subjects are made accessible to the user. One of the accessible subjects is designated by the user, if the user wishes to continue with navigation of a database. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a database management system for implementing a method for navigating a computing database (2) a computing system comprising a computer having a database management system implementing a method for navigating a computing database.
