The vehicle has a bumper beam (1) fixed by a body shell of the vehicle by a connection unit (7) cooperating with ends of longitudinal lateral beams (3), and utilized as equalizer beam. The connection unit has a visco-elastic or elastic unit (4) permitting oscillation movements of the beam in rotation around an oscillation axis (5). A rigidity of the unit (4) is adapted such that proper oscillation frequency of the beam is equal to frequency of a proper vibration mode of the vehicle. The beam is displaced such that the beam is supported on an end of a shock absorber (2).
