The device has electrode layers (20, 30) arranged on respective surfaces of a zinc oxide ceramic body (10), where the layer (20) has an electrode (21) provided with a ground terminal (a) on the body. Zinc oxide ceramic bodies (40, 60) are arranged on the layer (30), where the body (60) is arranged at a surface of the body (40). Electrode layers (50, 70) are arranged on surfaces of the bodies (40, 60), respectively, and have electrodes (51, 71) with respective phase conductor and neutral input terminals (b, c) on the body (40), where the layers (20, 30, 50, 70) are made of silver paste. An independent claim is also included for a method of manufacturing a three phase protection device.
