Use of cast polymethyl methacrylate sheet crosslinked with a defined amount of a crosslinking agent to produce a transparent article that is resistant to cracking

Cast polymethyl methacrylate sheet in which the polymethyl methacrylate is crosslinked with 500-4000 ppm of a crosslinking agent is used to produce a transparent article that is resistant to cracking when exposed to UV radiation and/or chemical agents. Independent claims are also included for: (1) producing a transparent article by joining together at least two sheets as above with an adhesive; (2) a transparent article produced by glueing together at least two sheets as above.
