The process for producing hot water to set in a solution of milk powder for feeding veals, comprises introducing water in a stainless steel reservoir (2) having two heat exchangers (4, 5), heating the water at 70-85[deg] C, and occulting a solar sensor (4A) during a depopulated period. One of the exchanger is supplied with the solar sensor and a fluid coolant, and the other is supplied with a classic heating unit (5A). A total volume of the water of 500 liters is separated into smaller dimensions in the reservoir. An independent classic heating circuit (3) is arranged at the solar sensor.
