The device for assembling an edge of first sheet panel on an edge of second sheet panel by folding, comprises a movable arm carrying a tool for exerting an effort on the first and second panel edges, and presetting rollers (1) and setting rollers (2) mounted one after the other on a pendulum (3). An angle (55[deg] ) is formed between axes of the two rollers. The pendulum is rotatably mounted on a base plate (7) that is fixed on the arm. The pendulum rotates around an axis perpendicular to a direction of the tool. The tool comprises two springs. The device for assembling an edge of first sheet panel on an edge of second sheet panel by folding, comprises a movable arm carrying a tool for exerting an effort on the first and second panel edges, and presetting rollers (1) and setting rollers (2) mounted one after the other on a pendulum (3). An angle (55[deg] ) is formed between axes of the two rollers. The pendulum is rotatably mounted on a base plate (7) that is fixed on the arm. The pendulum rotates around an axis perpendicular to a direction of the tool. The tool comprises two springs respectively compressing when the pendulum is isolated from a neutral angular position according to a first and second direction of rotation around the axis.
